Insomniaks; is a hip hop group founded in the mid 1990’s by high school friends Six O’clock and William Nice. The group also includes members: Jus-One, Joey War, Lil-J, & Contact; with a cast of DJ’s who have held Insomniaks down over the years (G-Son, B. Feeldz, & More)... After spending the late 90’s recording demo’s, rocking house parties, and battling for recognition; Insomniaks released their first single in 2002 ‘Wanna Battle’. The track was considered a success by the group, fans, and local media, inspiring Insomniaks to pursue their vision and first studio album titled ‘StopRewindPlay’ released in 2005. The album once again showed the groups growth and allowed Insomniaks the opportunity to take their show on the road and share the stage with some legends of hip hop such as: GZA/Genius, Slick Rick, Sadat X, 2 Live Crew, and Nappy Roots, just to name a few. Not to mention holding down and funding their own independent tours throughout Colorado and beyond the Rocky Mountains since that time.

Insomniaks have also released: Don’t Sleep: The Sound of Victory LP’ in 2008, ‘Multiple Levels of Raw Vol.1 & 2 MixTapes’ in 2007 and 2009, ‘The Lost Album’ 2000-04 Demos, and the latest and 3rd official album ‘Intellectual Intercourse’ released on Dec. 31st 2010. Once again proving why Insomniaks are one of the most official crews representing in the underground today. Now after three albums, two MixTapes, and one collection of classic demos the group is already planning the release of ‘Subculture Icons’ the fourth studio album and ’10 Years of Talk Sick’ a best of collection coming soon...TBD?...Insomniaks have spent over 10 years creating a quality catalogue of music, videos, shows, and fans that are here to stay.
